The Thais love to enjoy themselves and even though Thailand is a Buddhist country, it doesn't stop them from having lots of spooky fun on Halloween. In Bangkok, the best place to enjoy Halloween is on Kao San Road, located in the old town, only a short walk from the Grand Palace.

Although Kao San Road is really a haunt for adults with it being full of pubs and restaurants, people of all ages can enjoy the celebrations. Children can also go trick-or-treating around the American Embassy in Bangkok. So look out for ghastly ghouls and gruesome ghosts partying until way past the witching hour.
Throughout Thailand you will also find lots of street parties, where you will see children and adults of all ages dressed up as zombies, vampires and other creatures of the night. Get yourself a costume (the more outrageous the better) and join in with all the fun!
