The museum is ancient palace once used by King Rama VI and was used by the king as a retreat.

The palace has awesome architecture which probably took great effort to construct in these great heights but today there is a tram which allows for easy access..

The palace is constructed on a great hill in Phetchaburi in southern Thailand so you are afforded great views of the surrounding county side.
