With the sprawling mountain range to the north as the seamless backdrop, the 3.5 hectare park offers landscaped hills, characteristic Chinese timber buildings, water, rocks and trees. Here, you will wander amongst Buddhist pines, bonsai trees, bamboo, beautiful ornamental plants and flowers. Throughout the garden you will discover some interesting examples of petrified wood and a variety of large rocks and boulders, some of which contain small fossils. There is also a large school of Koi carp in the Blue Pond that is also well worth a visit.
In the centre of the garden lies the ‘Pavilion of Absolute Perfection’, a magnificently ornate, golden tower set in the middle of a bright orange bridge that spans the main Lotus Pond.
