Leam Phak Bia Environmental Research Project is a mangrove forest that the Thai Government uses to study and preserve the life associated with mangrove forests that are shrinking in size throughout the world due to man's development. This area is located not to far from Hua Hin and is a great eco-friendly destination to experience and learn about the life associated with mangrove forest.

With constructed walkways and roads through what would be in impenetrateable forest areas you can experience the life there up close.

The wild life includes many varieties of water fowl and water life uniquely adapted to life in the mangrove forest.
