First, you must know when it is best to visit Thailand. You will be able to have a pleasant vacation between November and February. You must remember that since it is the best time to visit Thailand, everyone will be aiming to be there in Thailand during this period. Obviously, all the hotels will be fully booked during these seasons and also the tariffs will be based on peak season tariff. If budget is not a constraint for you then you can travel between November and February. However, you must make sure that you book your accommodation well in advance because when you wait until the last minute, you may not find any accommodation even when you are ready to pay the price. Therefore, to save yourself from such disappointments, make sure you make your hotel bookings as soon as you decide to travel to Thailand.

If you have budget constraints like most people, you can avoid the peak season and consider early March, when the hot season would have just started. It would still be manageable because the hot season in Thailand runs between March and May. This is an ideal time to visit because the climate would still be enjoyable and at the same time, you will have the possibility of availing off-season discounts.

Thailand, in general has a lot of options for accommodation. You will be able to find everything from the most expensive suites to budget hotels that will fit your budget. When compared to the other tourist destinations, you can find hotels in Thailand relatively cheaper. You will also be able to enjoy top-class Thai hospitality. To make your stay even more enjoyable most hotels will have other facilities such as spas, massage centers, yoga halls, acupuncture etc. It is up to you to make the best out of it.

If don't mind rainy weather then you can travel to Thailand after May. However, traveling during rainy season would curtail you from enjoying lot of outdoor activities though you will be able to get your hotel bookings little more freely. Keep in mind that rainy season doesn't mean that it rains all day everyday, most days during the rainy season have morning sun or clouds with rain moving-in in the late afternoon. You must decide what you would like to do in Thailand and also set your budget so that you can visit Thailand at the best time of the year and also get some good hotel deals. These days it is also possible to book your hotel accommodation easily through the internet. Before you make your bookings, make sure that you are using reliable websites. By booking your hotel accommodation online, you will be able to enjoy a lot of promotional offers that you do not normally get when you make your bookings directly through the hotel.
